Vaginal Aesthetics

What is Vaginal Aesthetics?

Vaginal aesthetics is the operation performed in women who do not like the deformity and external appearance of the sexual area. Although aesthetic operations are usually performed for external appearance, today there has been an increase in the number of people who have vaginal aesthetics. The operation performed to increase sexual pleasure causes people to feel psychologically well about themselves. The desire of feeling beautiful and getting rid of the pressure of taboos caused women to turn to such operations.
Women, who do not find their own sexual organ aesthetic, do not enjoy sexual intercourse, and have sexual taboos, do not share their discontent with their spouses or themselves. Even in communication with doctors, they have difficulties in expressing themselves as they feel misunderstood, hesitated, and embarrassed. The aesthetic and physical concerns they experience cause their sexual life to be affected. Because of the discomfort they experience due to the deformation of the sexual organ over time or change in color, they fall behind from experiencing sexuality.

In which situations is vaginal aesthetics performed?

  • It is performed for women who has permanent stretching in the vagina after childbirth.
  • In some women, if the congenital asymmetry of the small lips is different, aesthetics should be done.
  • Aesthetics can also be applied if it has a large surface like an elephant's ear.
  • It is performed when sexual satisfaction is prevented due to the incision applied outside the vagina in difficult births.
  • When the bladder and the last parts of the rectum before the anus are prolapsed, sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence problems may occur. This situation may be the cause of uterine prolapse. Therefore, vaginal aesthetics can be done.
